~ THE SCROLLS OF ADMISSION ~

Hear ye, traveller! In this realm, 1,000 young souls from 20 villages seek passage to 55 great castles of higher learning.

I. THE VILLAGES

Each village (high school) sends forth 50 students. Some villages are renowned feeder academies — their students carry letters of recommendation that open castle gates more easily.

II. THE HEROES

Every student bears a class — STEM Scholar, Humanities Sage, Arts Bard, Athletic Knight, Well-Rounded Ranger, or Average Commoner. Their SAT power and GPA wisdom determine their fate.

III. THE WORLD

The realm is divided by two great rivers. Students must cross bridges and walk along winding roads through forests and hills to reach the castles. No teleportation here — every step is earned!

IV. THE SIX ROUNDS OF TRIAL

Early Decision — A binding oath. Accept, and you are sworn to that castle forever.

Early Action — A first plea to the castles. No oath required.

ED Round II — A second chance at a binding oath.

Regular Decision — The great migration. All remaining students petition at once.

Decisions Day — Heroes with multiple invitations choose their destiny.

Final — The realm settles. Those without a castle fade into the mist.

V. THE CASTLES

Castles are ranked in six tiers of prestige, from the legendary HYPSM fortresses (accept ~4%) down to the Top Public strongholds (accept ~28%). Each flies its banner for all to see.
